Only went there a couple of times as i lived in St Helens so watched them mainly but enjoyed it totally. Excellent fans though

In that case, is it being demolished by the council as a matter of public safety as I don't know who else would pay for the demolition, unless a decision is imminent on the planning permission?

Surprised the council didn't leave them to it for a few months - would have save em a few bob. Could have knocked it off our Council Tax

Maybe they have come to an alternative arrangement rather than Wi*an MBC having to fork out for demolishing it!

But 'alternative arrangements' still need to be paid for Plonk; forgive me for being a cynic, but maybe the planning application might go through a little more smoothly if the housing developers foot the bill for early demolition?
