But don't forget, there were "disciplinary issues" surrounding Long's exit, silly! Just like there are every time Wigan wrongly release a promising youngster.

With Wigan's desire to fill the club with drunken no marks like Riddell, Smith and Bird, it will be no surprise to see the "starlets" falling under their form of professionalism. Why spend a fortune bringing these kids through, only to then bring in wasters who will undo all the good work?

AJ wrote - Sean Long once again tore us to pieces. Its all well and good us singing Sean Long is a W@nker, but he was laughing back along by conducting the chant whilst ripping us to bits.
Robinson wrote - Saints - it depends on whether the side can get over their mental block. We're more than capable of beating 'Dads Army', but it appears that Wigan still shiit themselves at the mere sight of a red V.

Wasn't a saints player recently banned from driving through being drunk?
how ironic.a wigan supporter starting a thread on a saints board about 'ratboy' and 'fatboy'.with the the likes of riddle in his team it really is the pot calling the kettle black.anyway, after todays performance on their rented ground against wakefield,i bet they would take them both, even for season 2010
I would keep both, they have a presence about them that when they are on the pitch, their influence can inspire the rest of the squad, KC especially and they both lead by example. Granted Long's place kicking isn't what it use to be but his kicks in open play and play making is still at his best.
