Today he looked like a coward, all 50/50 challenges that came his way he backed out of them. The one on the first half after the Wakefield kick through, he had no intension of going to ground for the ball. And in the second half he let a high ball bounce 5 feet in front of him and didnt want to take it.
He does not deserve the number 1 shirt. If Noble is the coach we think he is, he should drop him now before things get any worse for Mathers (if thats possible).

no he wasn't, he was very good at leeds (granted he was still doing the head shots here & there) but since then he's had 2 serious injuries, and doesn't look the same player. doesn't look like he wants to be at wigan tbh, which is why he only seems half hearted
