That said, I'd be ecstatic if he went on loan for the season.

:thumb:, Wouldn't have selected him this week, definitely wouldn't select him next week!

Wakey kick upfield and if Mathers isnt directly under it, then he lets it bounce.

For once we arent short of backs, Mathers needs dropping.
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
I thought a deliberate trip was a red card? It was that bad he took the touch judge out as well.

No, a trip hasn't been an auomatic sending off for years now. It is just down to the ref to decide, just like it is for high tackles.

Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

Same here. I pretty much closed my eyes on every Wakey kick, and every time they came down our right hand side (tho thats a different story).

Not for the iron fist but for the helping hand
For theirs is a land with a wall around it
And mine is a faith in my fellow man
Theirs is a land of hope and glory
Mine is the green field and the factory floor
Theirs are the skies all dark with bombers
And mine is the peace we knew
Between the wars

3 players who continue to be a waste a space week in week out, why should anyone be suprised by the standards witnessed today i'll never know.

As Noble stated, players will be picked on form this season. I fully expect these three to be missing from the Hull game next week.
