According to the sporting media in Wales, Celtic Crusaders won,t be allowed to progress with local rugby talent. There is a threat that any good developing players will be bought up and end up playing Union.
Will Lewis take note or just create "spin" that we have a foothold in Wales.

So it follows that if you want to get paid good money to play R Union in Wales the best way would be to play RL at junior level for Celtic
So we end up with more juniors taking up RL in Wales
How is that bad for RL ?

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!
same Gatland that send them a good luck text last night. don't you think the press are just fishing for stories.
story mite even get a few more people turning up at the game. and if wales do go looking at celtic's academy players, don't you think it says more about how poor a state union is in. that a club which is only 3 years old, can't produce/spot better talent that one of the so called best national teams in union

Is Gatlands "broadside" a true or bluff statement, or is there a serious danger that Celtic Crusaders will end up as a feeder club for Union.
Which means the RFL will have to give a concession for the team to operate with 12+ overseas players just so that the RFL can say rugby league is in Wales.
Let them poach, it's a free market....shows they've made it on to the radar. Surely the irony is that if the WRU had continued to fund the Celtic Warriors, they wouldn't have to think about poaching from the Crusaders!
