Hi All:

I know that times are tight, and it may not be possible for many to attend, but if you want any advice re travel, hotels and the ground, and things to do in Toulouse for a weekend, and the places to stay, get in touch with me, and I will do all I can to help you have a decent weekend on a budget and watch the game.

I know that many people's attitudes to the French are a bit negative, but I think you may be surrised at the Toulouse supporters. They want you to come and make the games a success.

All the best to you Centurions. Keep marching on !

When the time is closer for the game with Toulouse in Leigh will you have information about the Toulouse Team and would you fancy writing us something for the programme then?

Looking forward to next season already!

Hi Parky.
Would love to. I am helping the Toulouse lads, and also going down for the first Sheffield game, as well as the Vikings game over here, and others. If anyone wants help, let me know. That's why we are in it ? For the love of the game and our team. ? Just want to be part of the great game.

I don't mind sharing it with anyone mate.
I just like the friendship of the rugby league fraternity. Sounds corny but its true. I am trying to get round all the Championship teams. If I am ever down there you are welcome to a lift up in the car and a few beers before during and after the game.
Thats what it's all about to me ?

Hiya,
Ive booked going friday and returning early hours monday morning. we are staying in the same hotel as the official trip (ibis central), but ave booked ourselves not through the club. What bars/resteraunts do u recomend that are local to the ibis that sell some good beers (looking forward to sampleing some nice beers) and that is not going to break the bank..
Also is there are bars that will be showing the rugby on friday evening.

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity

Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

Hoping to get some info for you on Monday am from the club, and tourist info. Will feed it through.
By the way starbug, never said I was from France. If you read my previous posts I said that I was helping the club when they were in England.
Your negativity astounds me at times. But in life I have always come across people like you.
