If England vs Aus does go take at Wembley...

ImageImage
Return of the Twin Towers...

Seeing Burgess and Graham in the same pack is, at least at this point in time, surely the biggest draw the England side has.

If they take it to wembley they better expect rows of empty seats unless they make it affordable for us up north to go.

if they're after a big crowd for the eng aus game then i dont see why they cant just hold it old trafford instead of making all the fans who would go to wembley trek down from the north.

the challenge cup final is rugby league fans one day out a year in the capital. i cant see many more wanting to make it two for a fixture not many will give england a chance in.

If Quins RU can get 50k to Twickenham, is it really beyond the RFL to fill Wembley?

In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11

Keepmoat? Halliwell Jones? The Stoop? Could do worse than these to host some of the games?
