Also the whole Tim Smith will he wont he will be apparent come the end of the season. It is most likely he will leave will Sam Tomkins be ready? Depends how many games he gets to play this season.
I would like to hope Mossop will be given game time to allow him to take Phil Baileys place but this wont happen.
I rate Hunt highly. He'd easily be the best FB in the league if he came but with us signing Roberts on a 4 year deal hopefully he can play there and play well also.
If we were to sign another FB it would push Ainscough further away from a spot in the first team.
In regards to Tomkins if he's not ready next year then he'll never be ready IMO. Noble has to start playing him it's as simple as that.

Quote:One of the most exciting junior talents to come out of Queensland last season, this Australian Schoolboy tasted first grade while still lugging a backpack at St Brendan's. He also tore up opposition defences in the Queensland Cup last year, and has duly earned his promotion to the Broncos' top squad. Taylor has dropped several kilos of weight as he prepares to try and break into the Broncos team permanently. A name of the future. 2007 was a huge season for him as he scored the try against the Gold Coast Titans to send the game into golden point extra time, with Darren Lockyer kicking the winning field goal. Taylor then followed these performances up with two tries against the Bulldogs in Brisbane's narrow 25-24 loss in round 22. Taylor has made a name for himself as being one of the NRL's hardest hitters and runners. He is touted as future representative player for both Queensland and Australia. He is also exceptionally quick for a man weighing 114kg being able to run the 100 metres in just under 13 seconds making him very hard to tackle one on one.

Justin Poore is a good prop for St George, hes off contract at end of year. Only 23.
Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid. Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal. Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.
Vagana is dogsh!t. Hunt is not a patch on Billy Slater. As far as coaches go how you lot can't be overall happy with Noble performance as coach after he's created a good squad from a team that was the worst in the league is beyond me.
