(First link of the day and it's nearly 10.00am!! Shocking.)

Quote:Warriors TV has been given a complete makeover to complement over 60 brand new plasma screens which have been installed throughout the concourses, and this Sunday footage from the game at Leigh will be mixed with player interviews and the latest team news. At half time and full time their will also be a highlights package with the tries from the preceding 40 minutes.

Great idea IMO, I know Bolton Wanderers do the same and it's great.

Is there anything stopping Wigan creating their own You Tube profile and putting these highlights online after the games?

I know FredParky off the Leigh board does it for Leigh:

It would be great to re-watch the highlights of a non-televised game.

Sounds like an idea for Pemps to send to Mick Hogan.

I believe they are out for dinner this evening, so it maybe worth pemps mentioning it whilst staring into Micks eyes. :)

Wasn't the idea of having TVs underneath the all stands first mooted when the stadium first opened?

It's taken almost 10 years but I'm sure it's worth the wait cos the quality on the big screen near the Tote in the East Stand was p1ss p00r.

'Do you remember when we had that meeting in Orlando? We talked about how we were knocked out the previous year by Leeds. And at the end, I asked you one question. "Do you want to be a semi-final team? Or do you want to do something special?" You all said you wanted to win. But talking is easy – it needed you to believe. It needed you to work hard – harder than you had – and make sacrifices. You did all that. you worked for each other. You stuck together when it was tough. And because of your efforts, you sit here tonight as champions. I'm proud of you. Be proud of yourselves. You've done something special.'

Shaun Wane's post-Grand Final speech. 5th October 2013.

When I read the thread title: Wigan TV, I thought it was our version of the Warrington cross-dresser!!

:?

Dan Sarginson: "This is a fantastic opportunity for me to join the biggest name in the competition" 18/10/2013

Tony Clubb: "This is a new exciting chapter of my life signing for Wigan and I couldn't be happier" 18/10/2013

Romain Navarrete: “I’m very happy to have signed for Wigan Warriors. As soon I knew that Wigan were interested, they were the only team that I wanted to sign for. To me, Wigan is the biggest Club in Rugby League and it will be an honour to pull on the famous Cherry-and-White jersey next year. I look forward to working with Shaun Wane and the players at Wigan.”

thats a cracking idea,
if they did that they should have the selected team scrowling acrass the screen so you can get your bet on, i hate running down as the team is announced

Theres TV's all over the JJB I'm told. But no doubt they'll be ruined by advertising all over the picture.

Too much legal red tape for that to happen so I wouldn't expect anything "official" to come out of it. Doesn't stop someone recording the games off the screen, and putting them up on youtube if they want to run the risk.
