Would I be right in thinking you support a SL side?

an atmosphere that isn't created by people in matching shirts clapping along to a drum or novelty PA music might be nice!

I support a Superleague side and have also supported a number of national league sides. My main side are the Saints but i have also followed teams like Prescot and Chorley. I am not a lover of Superleague but Rugby League :)

Hopefully I will be at the Toulouse games as well, am helping them out a bit when they are over here.
There are a few detractors saying that they shouldn't be in the league, but many said that about the Dragons eh ?

But they were entering a competition to stay in that competition , not to get out of that competition as soon as possible

Slightly different

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

Toulouse will be judged on their results, I would say, and the fact that thier ground and business plan stand the test of time. At the moment, Wakefield, Castleford& even St Helens, don't have a divine right to be in Super League on current criteria, as their grounds are not up to standard. If Toulouse do acieve the goal of Super League, they have the
backing from the City, for a new ground, and the opportunity to ground share with Toulouse Rugby Union, which has a 30,000 capacity. Time and results will judge them, I would think. Surely it's the goal of every team to better themselves and play at the highest levels?

Yes it is , unfortunatley some clubs are denied that goal because of thier location

Dont get me wrong I have no gripe with Toulouse themselves , but What I dont like is money from our competition [ Championships ] being used to help prepare a club/team for entry into SL when many of the clubs in the championship are struggling financially

That money could be put to better use than travel/accomodation costs
