one centre place is looking weak, no i dont mean yeaman
, and our 6 and 13 are strong. we'll have to see about thorman although i'm not expecting much tbh although he was mom in a friendly!
and how dare suggest calderwood is decent!!!!
TBF the day I read in the paper that Ewan Dowes has signed a 2yr contract extention, your club's days of progression had finished and decline had set in (no disrespect to the lad).
Carvell & Wheeldon > Moa & Maloney
Dykes > Thorman (even though Dykes was a crock)
Sing > Calderwood (even though I'd say Calderwood is faster)
2 yrs ago, I would have loved to see Hall at Rovers but now I'm happy he didn't come as we've got Whelham who is going from strength to strength and whilst he is not as skillful as Hall, he's certainly not lacking skill and is far tougher, meaner and is not flaky like Hall.
Yeaman is good from 10/20 yards out and that is it, he's way, way too slow for an international centre.
Horne and Washbrook are out and out runners for their respective positions who lack guile. Thorman is average to say the least although he'll give you some kind of kicking game.
Calderwood is windy but he'll at least show a bit of enthusiasm on kick chases etc.
