it says theyve APPLIED for planning permission.......it doesnt say they have it.
iirc when the JJB was originally built planning permission for a shop was refused.
but that was when whelan owned JJB.
so i reckon if enough folk object to it on the grounds of bias, we might find enough councillors with the guts to turn it down unless its a joint venture with warriors.

Yes I agree a town centre store will be commercially better, depending on the rent. But we are making do with sellers inside the south stand why cant the stadium store be dual use?
