And they are about as British as each other!
MANCHESTER CITY - PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS 2011-12 BORUSSIA DORTMUND - BUNDESLIGA CHAMPIONS 2011-12 CELTIC - SPL CHAMPIONS 2011-12 ALEMANNIA AACHEN - HOPELESS 2011-12 ST. HELENS RLFC - ER.. 3 OUT OF 5 AIN'T BAD!
Great match, Nadal never gives in and perhaps Verasco did buckle towards the end. I have no idea who's going to win the final. it could be a great match.
Can of worms time, 5 and a half hours of entertainment there, i dont know how long the womans semi final lasted, but those matches can be over in 50 mins....... higher TV ratings for the mens game, you know what i'm getting at........

True, but what happens if the mens final is a blow out? I've seen mens games last not longer than an hour, and women's games last well over twice that long.
Also, it's not that long ago that the womens final, certainly at the U.S Open when it was the Williams brothers playing, were higher than the mens.
From my own point of view, I think the tennis on offer in the mens game is better, (despite some of the women being better to watch!) but it's not as black and white as some people make out.

Wonder if they've any plans for that, now they've got the roof?
My guess would be not, seeing as you get long daylight hours in England in June/July, and it may effect the grass if it's closed for long periods of time. We've seen that from a rugby perspective at the Magic Weekend.
Sad really, as I agree it would make a better spectacle.

Ssssshhh.
So she was born in Australia, but I think she only lived there for a matter of minutes, and her talent was honed in Blighty using our excellent infrastructure and facilities.
