Saints players played 2 games in the international weekend in 2008, but the Saints game was after the England game - (Friday for England/Sunday for Saints). Presumably, the RFL wouldnt let them play for Saints on Friday then England on Saturday.

I dont think those plans should be affected too badly.

Never heard that swipe before. But I doubt this will be full on full strength test judging on the mid season tests in 2006 & 2007 so who knows who'll get called up.

Ye it shouldnt affect us as who is he going to pick may b hock n lockers if he stays fit.

I think that the thing that we're perhaps missing, in our enthusiasm over an excuse to go to Paris (ahh ... shopping, great food and RL!) is the other news contained in that: meetings between the French RL and the French government, and what seems to have followed, including the 'assurance of support'.

That, it seems to me, is very optimistic, particularly given the history of RL in France.
