Both Horne and Hall looked to of added that bit of extra size which means the centre spot should be theres whilst Briscoe is on the wing.Hopefully this is a positive sign for the season with byrne being able to back up in all the outside back positions aswell.
We have to hope Hall can develop that defence and bulking up will help with that he is possibly the best attacking centre this country has produced for a while lets hope we manage to see that potential come out of him.
This is Poorhouse Lane. And this is Neil, the rovers supporter who leads an exciting double life. For when Neil sponsors RLFANS an amazing transformation occurs. Neil is Cabbageman. Ever alert for the call no injury too small! //www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Cabbage%20Man

If it were a league game and not a friendly in the absence of key players i dont see why the principle wouldnt be adopted. If you play well enough you keep your shirt, if you have a bad game you dont. Simple really!

I know its not difficult....but you've lost me

It is the way of the weak to secretly bleat to those in authority rather than fight their own battles.

My thoughts too. G.Horne had a very good game last night imo. But we were the worst team in attack last season and personally I think Hall is our best attacking playing and is needed in the team to add a lot to the attack

Hall is probabally our best attacking talent in my opinion, would be criminal if we let him go, I think long term he is a better centre prospect then Briscoe.

The strength he shows when he comes in field to help out the forwards is unbelievable.
I was thinking exactly the same thing and with Raynors injury record I think he will get plenty of game time this season. Which should just leave Hall and G.Horne for the Centre spot (still think Agar will play Byrne if Motu is fit though) and hopefully Hall will get the nod.

I agree.
Agar mentioned at the fans forum that he enjoyed playing on the wing and running the ball out on kick returns etc. He's so strong when carrying the ball you sometimes forget he's a rookie.

Same principles? Not at all. I think Agar knows who his first choice full back and hooker are...
Responding to Agar putting out his 'strongest' available team last night with the right centre berth still not clearly decided. Hull had Briscoe, G.Horne, Hall and Byrne all available and Horne got the spot and played very well.
