Hall could do with a full season playing for Salford or Celtic or someone like that to work on his defensive frailties.
Hall's defensive 'frailties' are overstated IMO. And nothing that wouldn't be sorted by having Horne and Crocker defending on the same side.
He is one of the very few players we have who can score tries out of nothing and just generally make things happen in attack. It would be verging on criminal not to include him when we have such a pi$$ poor attack and struggle to cross the line. IMO.
Loaning him out would be a waste and we might as well just let him go somewhere permanently. Better for us and much better for him.
Hold on to me baby, his bony hands will do you no harm It said in the cards, we lost our souls to the Nameless One

The best post on the thread so far.

Unless there is a drastic change of mindset from Agar with regards to allowing attacking flair i can never see Hall flourishing whilst Agar or any other play the percentages coach is at the helm.
The amount of times last season he made half breaks or got his arms free in the tackle and yet no players were pushing up on the play was ridiculous. Fair enough he makes mistakes however it would be interesting how many of those mistakes came from other players been lazy and no offering any support when they should be.

Exactly many times last year certain things were counted as mistakes on his behalf when in fact at times he was just way ahead of his team mates when it came to attack.

I disagree. I wouldn't back him to make an effective tackle one-on-one with anyone in SL TBH. Having said that I would still play him for his attacking qualities and the fact that Horne and Crocker can help cover his defensive problems. He needs to play to learn and Briscoe can keep covering the wing for now as he is still very young. All of which will be completely ignored when Byrne lines up at Centre for the first game of the season as I've been saying for months.
