Very very disappointing today, we've won 1 in 8 and are still 4th, that says it all about this league but, sooner or later, another team are going to start pulling away.
The most frustrating thing today was what seemed to be a lack of urgency or drive to go on and win the game, Daley was certainly a strange choice for MOTM but at least he posed some threat at times, the abuse he was getting from some was ridiculous - I dread to think what it would have been like if he was as inept as Steve Jones was for most of the game.
Considering who our manager is his decision not to change things and put Bullock or Furman on in the middle of the park to shake things up a bit and put themselves about was particularly baffling.

Agreed, I also think he has to start Bullock next week we desperatelyneed someone who can win the ball in the middle of the park. We also need to get out of the habit of hoofing the ball upfield to the strikers all of the time especially as it nearly always ends up in us losing possesion. A new striker is a must as well in the january window Conlon scored but was poor for much of the game Thorne is on his lst legs unfortunatly and Chris O 'Grady was shocking when he came on.

Yep, didn't think much of him against Shrewsbury but he didn't have much time and he had just signed so he probably deserved some benefit of the doubt, from what I saw today he's hopeless - no wonder my Oldham supporting friend laughed when I told him we'd drafted him in!
I think another, pacey, striker is a must if we are to go for automatic promotion.

It beats the old tactic of tip-tapping it around on the edge of our own box and losing it there instead.
