im sure IL was hinting Pirtek where going to be the sponsor but i probably missed something he was saying.
I thought Hogan was a bit vague to be honest, he seemed to be very tight lipped, didnt really say much apart from the shirt is unveiled next fri (sure he meant the 23rd)
I was impressed with what Nobby had to say, he really does seem up for this year

Apparently they've pulled off a miracle getting the shirt sorted at short notice... next season's shirt is getting started next week, such is the work involved
23 - 20 - 4
Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions
Sounds to me then that if that's all the money we have going spare, it's a good job Trent decided he didn't want to see out the last year of his contract here, or we could have been in dire straights! A lot of wages left the club at the end of last season, without too much coming in to replace them by all accounts. Can't see Smith being on that much, nor Pryce ro Roberts, which only leaves Riddell - will he be a money earner? And will they be on more than Calders, Higham and Trent were?
Seems curious the club said they were interested in positions and haven't filled them - lack of ambition there, perhaps, if they obviously think we're weak in those areas.
Don't worry - It only seems kinky the first tiime you try it!

Were you all expecting an announcement? FFS they tell you everythng that's going on, there's no way you can be party to negotiations with unnamed parties. I'm certain a bloke called Phil McKracken asked a question tonight...
Just take their plans for the future and get on with it....

Exactly. You also can't expect the guy to slag Whelan off.
He's a business man at the end of the day and will only divulge what he wants to divulge. Be thankful that we have a club who are willing to do this and not do everything behind closed doors leaving us constantly in the dark..
