1st weeks of playoffs next year 1v4, 2v3. Not impossible Wigan v Saints. IL suggested that if football club at home that weekend we may have to find a new home for this.

I hope this policy works for us i dearly do, but i think sometimes you have to grasp the nettle when real quality comes on the market.
Regards 2010, i may be wrong but was 2009 not stated at the last forum as the year we could expect us to be in for some big names and the year on which the club should be judged?
Indeed, and with the unexpected loss of Barrett, I would have thought there'd be more than 20k floating around... maybe that's why he went back to Aus

However, it is Tomkins and sorry but I disagree with Noble's argument and would have spoken up about it. I actually found his comments interesting and would have enjoyed Noble having the full evening to discuss the team.
I disagree because A) The young men are ready because if they are not we must be doing something wrong given youngsters are fine at Castleford, at St Helens, at Leeds etc etc, in the NRL and B) They are not selected on merit. Sam should have been given games from the bench after Whitehaven. Mathers was never selected on merit. Joel Tomkins was hailed as an example but he was not selected because he was ready. He was selecyed because Lockers got injured and Noble had no choice.

I agree with his comment re wing play. Unfortunately, if the tatics are right in the middle and you make holes up the middle you get stroll in tries out wide E.G N.Z in the World Cup
A few things wer e clear from Nobby, and agai simple poitns:
Every young player is different and develops differently.
Noble and the other coaches cover more rugby time with them than you, me or any other on this forum.
Theyy are best placed to make the judgement on the readyness, and also how long they stay there.

Exactly, who seriously thinks a company would pull a major sponsorship deal because someone on a fans forum put their name on a made-up shirt.

Especially when he said he was trying to pull it.
