Off at a tangent rambling story time:
The year I went off to Uni I got a job working in the Infirmary doing a mixture of portering and theatre assistant type stuff. There's a really old separate building called Christopher Home where they do the eye operations and I was based there with this 60 od year old fella with the shakes called Bert. Anyway, there wasn't much to do - fetch a patient from their bed about once an hour to take them up for an operation and just sit around outside the theatre waiting. Until the fire alarm went off one day and it was left to us and a couple of nurses to evacuate two 8 bed wards full of pensioners.
Most got into chairs and were pushed out but one or two it was quicker just to take the brakes off their beds and push them outside. Anyway after a bit we got the bleep that it was safe to move them back in and so got them in and retired to our little attic room for a smoke feeling pleased with ourselves. After we'd been up there about 20 minutes we heard this faint little voice going 'Hello? Hello?' We ignored it for a bit but eventually got up on the window ledge to look down. We'd pushed an old dear with both eyes bandaged up round the corner of the building still in her bed and forgotten her when we wheeled everyone back in
We were like shit off a shovel down the stairs and got there just before the surgeon who'd heard her as well I gave her a good excuse about waiting 30 mins for the all clear...

I would certainly hope so.
There's been an awful lot of doubt expressed on this board in recent months about the running of the club. Now is definitely the time for people to put their money where their mouths are.

I hope some people who are attending ask about the following:-
Sponsorship
Transfer movements or lack of them in key positions, although it seems some of these may well be coming to a head in the next few days for the 09 season, and longterm ie 2010 onwards.
Sam Tomkins - much debate about him on here, would be interested on the oficial line of why he was not used last year and plans for 09.

Thats if they have the time to do that. Maybe it's worth passing the questions onto the no scaredy cats on here to ask and then one of us could ask and then relay it on here tomorrow night

''Oct 28 - Dear Mr Hitman 8976200, I knowledge my glaring error in mis-identifying the Dynamite Kid's accent as cockney instead of Wigan. I am just a confused Canadian and my lack of distinction between the two accents was indeed a glaring error. Thank you for pointing out this glaring error. Now shut the hell up and move on with your life.
Signed, Chris "I promise to let everyone who I come in contact with from this point on know that Dynamite Kid is from Wigan and will write it on the chalkboard 1004 times" Jericho''

i.e. are we lining Whelans pockets or does some of that revenue actually go back to Wigan RLFC.
Did anything get sorted regarding forming a partnership with an Australian club to send some of our better academy players over there on a scholarship.
