most issues now surrounding stadiums are concerns over the next year, the hope that things will pick up must turn into reality before any large projects are begun.

Thats not saying the stadium won't happenjust that it may drag out a little to slow down the risk factors.

It can't drag out anymore than it already has!!

Good john wilky last looked out
on the pitch at salford.
when the snow lay round about
deep and crisp and even
brightly played the lads that night
though the frost was cruelllll
when poor swinton scored a try
we had 94urrrrrrrrrr

And i truely hope I'm one of them, but until I see us run out there for the first time I'm still not going to believe it.

It has taken us about 8 years and all we have ended up with is the use of a council facility

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity

Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

Anybody spotted this story :-

"I've seen the latest drawings and the stadium doesn't look any different.

"There is a 20,000 capacity and it is still iconic. All they have done is pull out the hotel and put the college in front of it."
