So who is going to toulouse then and what are your plans?
I have just booked flights from leeds/bradford - toulouse 14-21st july. Going to stay in hostels and cheap hotels for a week. Going to take in toulouse, carcesonne, bezeirs, narbonne.
Not made our plans yet PW. I don't wan't to do a week as we've got our family holidays planned already. I'd like to just do the weekend so Jet2 no good. Once Ryaniar drop their entry prices then I'll look at flying to Carcassonne and travelling to Toulouse from there.
In terms of the places you suggest visiting, I'd recommend them all. Carcassonne is fantastic. Try and stay in the old citadel if you can...fantastic!
Beziers is also a walled city but nothing like Carcassonne. We've used Beziers as a stop off many times on our way to Barcelona.
When we played Narbonne a few years back, we stayed at a resort called Vias Plage. It was nothing flash but adequate. Just one street (at the time), a few bars, few places to eat and a nice beach. Depends what you want.

Thats what we are thinking of doing, my mate suggests camping but it may be roasting in July?
How much are the hotels down there and do you have details of any?

Budget hotels. Similar standard as Travelodge and usually a mile or two out of town. About €60 - €80 depending on hotel:
If you really want budget but clean then you could go with Formule 1. Usually get a double bed and a bunk, but usually shared shower/toilet. Very very clean though. About €40 a room
