Last season the only Academy products to play in the 1st team were Goulding, Hock, Hansen, O'Loughlin, Prescott, O'Carroll, Colbon, J.Tomkins, S.Tomkins, Coyle, McIlorum, Mossop and Tuson.
Did that include the cc?

Fans like Standee have the mentality that once a player leaves their club they are no good. They can never admit that they have lost a good player for whatever reason Even worse if he joins an unfashionable club, that's more than their tiny minds and massive ego's can bare. That said Hull fans are not as bad as Leeds fans for doing it.
We at Trinity admit that we have in the past let most of our best players. However we consider most of them to still be great players we would have back, Ellis, Hudson, Westwood, Solomona etc.
In the case of Brough it was nice to win one but some folk even begrudge you that little victory. RL fans, there the best

I doubt you'd have been able to find too many Hull fans who would claim that Brough was better than Horne, even at 4pm on 27th August 2005.

Hull hardly 'lost' Brough though - they didn't even want him when Cas bought him.
I doubt Brough would have walked out on Hull for either Cas or Wakey.
