Got 4 tickets from the shop on Friday and they only had 2 tickets left.
What do I think to the RL people who continually downplay everything in RL, and influence the stupid sheep to think like them? I think they are one of the reasons that RL will always be a minor sport.
If it's "our" Hogan, then none.......
He has 2 burgers and a kebab.

Balls. I was hoping to go
Can somebody ask a question for me please?
My son is in year 1 at school and so far as an after school club he's been offered, and done, cricket, tennis and football. All these were done by an out of school organisation who came down to the school and taught them on site. The football being done by Wigan Athletic.
My question is... Due to playing football at school my lad has now got a mild interest in it and the only thing that's making him consider rugby is constant beatings by me. Why is this not being done by Wigan RL and is this something Wigan would consider doing to try and get kids interested at an early age?

I'll back this one up. When we went to the 'new parents' thing last year for the nipper, the headmistress reeled off about 15 clubs available to the kids. I was waiting for her to say rugby but it never appeared. More annoying was how Football was mentioned several times as the sports torch-bearing sport for interaction with other schools, kids love the coaching sessions etc. This in Shaun Edwards old school overlooking the old CP site and with the likes of Gary Connolly and Chris Joynt having nippers there. I'll be offering to do the coaching myself when the little fella is of school age.

Agree. Another thing, three times my little bleeder has come home from school with a freebie Latics ticket in his bag (which has been binned )but not once has he had a free rugby ticket so I can take him along with me. I wouldn't mind but his school is....wait for it....St Judes!!!!
Won't matter to me next season as I'm going to upgrade to a family season ticket, but some freebies this year would be handy.

Unfortunately, the gentlemen who worked tirelessly for school RL are now all of an age when they should be putting their feet up. Dave Mallin and co have been doing it for 40 years.
Not entirely sure re primary schools but many secondary schools do not play RL Hawkley Hall being one example. Shevington seem to do little either. St John Fisher is a pale shadow of its heyday with no genuine RL PE teacher. Standish has flourished recently with the appointment of Ged Stazicker.

Its because the Latics are deperate for crowds to avoid embarrasment and to keep up with the others in the Wendyball Premier League
WIGAN RLFC IS MORE THAN A RUGBY CLUB - IT'S A RELIGION There will always be a Wigan Warriors no matter what the bitter & twisted blues say
