The marquee line was indeed used by Mr M and I am sure you are aware of it. Still, you are good at burying your head in the sand so maybe you chose to ignore it whilst cracking one off over the signing of Simon Finnigan.

Aye, and Eddie is hinting at it too. And, as we all know: Mystic Eddie has been right all along! - copyright vbfg 05.01.2017

If when you blink, your eyes fill with sand, then you're probably you. You're the man who wants a coaching team of Wayne Bennett, Daniel Anderson and McLennan. You're the man who wants us to sign up all the Origin squads, and the NZ squad as reserves. You want us to sack the board, sack the coach, sack the team, and play solely millionaires.
You're Walter McMitty.
"Marquee"? You mean "Big, Big, Money", let's pay someone Big Big Big MONEY (that we haven't got). At least I presume you mean this, as I haven't seen any player called "Marquee". Personally, if we are trying to define what a "marquee" player actually would be (which of course you don't), then I'd say Steve Menzies has more tent-like characteristics than anyone signed by anyone else, it was a stunning move by the Bulls, and there's no-one available whom I'd rather we had signed, but he's just one man, and in your delusion we need 25.

And I said this where exactly?
I never said I wanted any of the above, just that I do not want McNamara. However, perhaps you can show me where I did say as such or else you are making more things up.

I'm shocked. When have you ever said, or even hinted, at that?
I would have though that one such as you who reads things I have never actually ever written would maybe occasionally spot something that I actually had.

Oh, I spot 'em all mate, here's a flavour:-
Eddie - In His Own Words. Part 1: Uncanny predictions, and a desire to buy everyone:
In April 2007, mystic eddie wrote:...a deal to sign Luke Rooney is all but done, ...Matt King also strongly linked, ...
... I would be over the moon to have a back line of....
Platt Luke Rooney Hape King Tupou
In July 2007, mystic eddie wrote:....we need a centre and halfback cover is a must ...Calderwood, Mogg, Alker and a.n. other will do me
... buying Walker as Centre / 2nd row cover would be good.
However, more pressingly we need to get a Hooker, a winger and some halfback cover
I will take Mogg
I would take Hodgson from Salford on the wing
As for GB centres? I'd take Yeaman
mystic eddie wrote:You are the one who first mentioned cast offs. It matters not a bit to me where we get our players from.
I would rather we looked to sign Alker up ... Newton and Alker would be an excellent pairing.
I would be happy enough with Godwin, yes. Hopefully that one comes true!
I have no doubt Nero (if he signs) would be an adequate replacement for Ben Harris.
Lyon? (yes please)
It does, however, leave question marks over our supposed signing of Nero. Halley resigns so does that put the Tadulala rumours to bed? Where do we play Jeffries if he signs? I really cannot see them demoting Iestyn.
Sykes nero Jeffries Godwin (and Fa'afili) the possibility of the above is quite realistic, and I, for one, would be delighted with that.
The back line for next season looks sweet at the moment with Platt, Tupou, Hape, Sykes and A N Other (Tadulala?), with Evans and Halley as back up to the side.
Sweet?
