Zigic returns to Racing on loan and will be presented at the Sardinero today alongside Toni Moral, a winger/striker recruited from Alaves. Hopefully with a bit more oomph up front (and maybe a centre back/holding midfielder recruited in the window) we'll be able to pull away from the bottom.

Spanish international, plays in Liverpool's defence which is much stronger than Madrid's, he'd make a better left back than Heinze or Marcelo, despite naturally being a right back.

Will Tchite be going the other way?
I read somewhere once that Valencia were looking to swap Tchite for Zigic.

Hope not. Valencia don't need him. He's not even that good to be honest. Morientes, Angulo, Villa and Mata would all be ahead of him. Plus Silva could play up front as an emergency striker if absolutely neccesary.
