After watching the Hawks lately they look like a team that are going to be a real force in the next few years due to the young age.
They play with great attacking flair, have good defence and are running 4 lines every game. Against the Canucks they just look so fluid and when they do give teams a chance in front of goal Khabibulin & Huet are both on form snuffing out most of them.
Its unfair to pick anyone out but feel that the likes of Kane & Toews have been revelations to the Hawks and hard to think they were rookies last season. Also mention goes to Versteeg who's another rookie that has come in and looked the part on the ice.
Joel Quenneville has taken the team to a much higher level than Savard probably could have. They whole team really see to respond to his coaching and tactics and it is paying off big time and long may it continue. Would be nice to see the Hawks become Divisional Champions again as they haven't done that since it was the Norris Division.
Really looking forward to the game at Wrigley Field and feel the Hawks can really mount a serious challenge for Lord Stanley this season.
