Manchester United DO NOT train on the Old Trafford pitch. Because of drainage, ventilation problems and lack of natural sunlight, they avoid the unneccasary wear and tear on their playing surface. Otherwise the pitch would need relaying every month during the winter.

HTH

Rubbish, so Man U do not train on OT? What about the open sessions they have than can attract over 4000? Or the behind closed doors sessions and games??
Next You'll be saying that the reserves have never played at OT and the record attendance for a reserve game of 40k (I think it was) never happened! BTW that was Cantona's return after his little incident with a cockney.

According to a post on their official forum, they train at the Carrington complex a few miles from OT.

Maybe they just hold special sessions at OT for the media.

Must be the same for City because on look north the other night the team were clearly holding some kind of training session at an empty KC.

The atmosphere at the KC is good when we get a decent crowd. I do worry though if they expand the stadium. It will look a bit empty. At least the seats are black and for night gmes it shouldnt be too bad. I worry even more though for City if they expand and then eventually get relegated. That really would be a poor show imo. Its ofetn been the case that the atmosphere has been poor. Even super city fan Burnsie has commented on it.

Grounds need standing areas. All seaters are rubbish grounds if you are talking atmosphere alone.

Could you imagine the problems Justine would of had at the KC derby if we had been louder? I think that backs up if the ground was full it creates an awesom atmosphere just look at the donny semi aswell

This is Poorhouse Lane. And this is Neil, the rovers supporter who leads an exciting double life. For when Neil sponsors RLFANS an amazing transformation occurs. Neil is Cabbageman. Ever alert for the call no injury too small!

Hull's record attendance was set in 1936. 28798 were at the Boulevard. Why don't we get that many at the KC? Safety restrictions? Because of small minded people that don't like all seater stadiums?

i think headingly is certainly holding leeds back. given the citys population their crowds are poor.

huddersfield with zero real success on the field have grown their crowds every year.

of course if you think halving your average crowds is progress, good luck to you

What an absolute nonsense! Chelseas crowds are poor in comparison to the population and they have a swanky ground. And how is Headingly holding Leeds back? They are solvent and are the current World Champions.
