As much as the Boulevard will always be a special place in Hull fans hearts I personally wouldn't want to go back there. If nothing else it would certainly cost us our A grade franchise.

more to the point i dont think there is the space to build a 15,000 capacity RL ground there, not without buying up houses and land.

sure the boulevard may have fitted that number back in the day where you could cram people in and have open air toilets...but a modern ground would struggle to fit that space. Also it was hardly the quickest to get out of with 6,000 in during our final days, it'd never cope with the crowds we get now. And who exactly would pay for it, we've had more than our share of the councils cash.

if the KC does get expanded to 30,000 I'd hope that Hull would take the attitude of 'fine its now 5,000 seats bigger, lets sell 5,000 more passes then' and cut prices/do more marketing to achieve that aim.

personally i think the boulevard could eventually be a good site for a HullFC training ground/academy if we ever have the resources to build one.

I think Radford must have taken a knock to the head in training.

Considering him and the players have trained at the Boulevard recently and have seen how the site looks one can only presume Radders was either as high as a kite or had taken a blow to the head to suggest something so ridiculous as this.

i e -mailed RH tonight and got my email read out , i strongly believe that Radders comments about returning to the Boulevard was inspired by the board no club will let their players speak out on such a contraversial issue with the potential to upset the fanbase without their consent , i feel that Hull City want the KC to themselves and that basically our board have bowed down to them , Radders i feel was prepped into making this comment about returning to the Boulevard to see what the reaction would be from the fans , i mentioned a couple of months ago about Citys dominance at the Kc but got slated for my comments from certain individuals on this forum , i strongly feel that our days at the KC are numbered , remember our board treat the club as a business , if they can secure an attractive deal from Hull City (and forget the tenancy agreement for a while) that would be financially rewarding that could possibly pay off a lot of our debt , i feel that it would see us leaving the Kc and playing at the Boulevard again, did no one smell a rat at Albos "basics" training at the Boulevard, the club video on the official site at the Boulevard, read into it what you will , do you really think it was an off the cuff remark from Radders ?
