Hawks took the game 2-0 with an apparently outstanding display from Hubet who is reported to have stepped up to the mark after pacthy form since his arrival in the Hawks camp. Looks as though the run of games has played a part in Hubets improved performances.

If he keeps playing well maybe the Hawks will trade Khabby at the trade deadline to get another scorer in for the playoffs.

Great news to see HNIC back on sat and even more amazing is it's the Habs 1st game up not the Leafs as it always used to be.

Seems as though Mr Avery will no longer be a Dallas Star.

Good win for the Hawks against Columbus 3-1 and another great display from Huet between the pipes after letting in an early goal.

Best thing to happen to us when he left to join Dallas. It was good to see him winding up opponents on the ice, but his off ice antic were just pathetic and he came across as a right knob.

The Hawks go to a five game winning streak after taking apart the Oilers with a 9-2 win. This is the Hawks best winning streak since 2000-01 season when they last made the playoffs.

Good news as Wisniewski returned to the ice for the first time this season after njury and picked up 3 assists.

The Hawks look a totally different team under Quenneville and ave picked up a steely resolve under his guidance.

Seems like Sundin will eventually make his mind up on what he is doing in the next 2 weeks, odds favour a move to the Canuck, Rangers and possibly the Hawks

Always had a soft spot for the Hawks since I followed the NHL back in '92. Had a great team back in the day; Belfour, Smith, Goulet, Roenick, Larmer, Chelios. They're my 2nd supporting team behind the Rangers so it's always good to see them doing well!

Some great names there including Dirk Graham, Brian Noonan & Hasek. The Hawks roster in the early 90's was good though but all it started to go downhill after about 97.

OK guys, lets test you.
Tonight, The Avs beat Tampa Bay in a shoot out. Tampa shot first and after there 3rd try had not scored. The Avs had shot twice and had not scored but won. So there were 5 shoot out tries, no goals scored, but the Avs won. How did the Avs win?
