England fans, astonishing as this may seem to you, actually care about the image of the game as well as winning.
We don't have the luxury of the extensive coverage you enjoy in Aus, so we're very protective of our hard-earned image for being friendly and amiable, with no quarter asked nor given on the field but an extensive and good natured cameraderie off it.
You shouldn't assume it's simple schadenfreude from the England fans - many of us genuinely were disgusted by Stuart's behaviour towards the officials in public.

Its a bit like being an aussie and declaring you were happy that NZ won because its good for the image of the game. You dont half make me laugh Dally
