Do the same thing in most other jobs, and you would be dismissed. Do the same thing in a profession heavily exposed to the the media as RL is in Australia then instant dismissal.

Stuart needed his arm twisted considerably to "resign", should have been suspended for coaching in the NRL for his actions.

So what exactly was attacking the referee and his boss in the hotel reception if it wasn't sour grapes. It has nothing to do with England it has everything to do with this man's actions and his abuse of the officials. The man is an absolute disgrace and has brought the good name of our sport and the Australian team into disrepute.

Anyone condoning such behaviour is no better than he is and that really is bad form.

I find it highly amusing and as a fan of a dismal England showing any chance to laugh at the Aussies is most welcome! We laughed at the final performance on the field and laughed even harder at the coach that was being touted by the media as Australias coach forever when he acted like a little girl. Oh such joy and mirth! He who laughs last laughs loudest and all that!

i didnt see much laughter from english fans in melbourne

the atmosphere was like a morgue.

i went there expecting to hear lots of singing and stuff but you guys were as quiet as the australian fans during the game.

hmmm can't think why? 5 grand to travel half way round the world to watch a bunch of merkins embrass the jersey, so much to sing about!
