Anyway the The Boulevard lost a lot of the intimidating atmosphere post Bradford fire and the Popplewell Report which led to the back half of Threepenny being closed.
You are right, and that was over 23 years ago.
And some on here thinkg rovers fans are stuck in the 1980's

You mean, like they were at both end of the Boulevard
You are right about not recreating the atmosphere, it was plain rubbish at the Boulevard in the final 10 years of playing there. The only noise generated was from one stand which ran only one third of the pitch and couldn't be heard at any other point in the ground.

I'm not that old myself, but I do remember being suprised when reading it that games took place on the 25th. I would think players would have prefered the 25th to the 26th.
Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've
forgotten this before.

You'll enjoy it at our place first game then.
Typical old fashioned ground.

Granted, its got a lot of memories for some people (I only saw one season there and a few others before and even I have a few good memories) and had a good atmosphere but it was a terrible ground itself. We now play in a fantastic 25k+ all seater stadium instead of a crumbling, now 1/4 knocked down, 12k+ capacity hole and some, albeit a minority, still want to go back? Theres needs to be more padded cells in this city
A little advice:
