FC Utd vs Boston is now on Weds after it was called off yesterday. We are likely to make a rather large loss on this game now it's midweek and a split gate so get yourselves to that football ground.
7.45pm kick off.
Telford Utd at home in the next round should we progress.

FCUM 1-3 Boston
FC bossed most of the start of the game, Boston scored off their first and second attack, Boston scored again quite early on in the second half to make it very difficult for FC, FC scored a deflected goal with about 25/30 mins to go. United then made the best of a half chance to miss by literally a inch or so. If that had gone in it would have made for a very interesting last 20 mins but oh well...
Can see a few games being off tomorrow; we've had our Lancs Trophy tie with Atherton Colls postponed four times in recent weeks
We're at Bradford Park Avenue tomorrow, but luckily we've got a back up plan if that's off and watch ex-Leigh winger Steve Jones make his Bradford City debut at home to Orient

Bad day at the office for Salford City today at Moor Lane with fellow strugglers Chorley running out 6-1 winners with the Ammies reduced down to 9 men in the second half. It's a must win game next weekend when we travel to next to bottom Harrogate Railway.
Poor result for FCUM last night, losing 3-0 to Woodley Sports in the snow, though in fairness it wasn't exactly their first team. Should be docked league points for disrespecting the league cup, as far as I'm concerned

What makes it worse is we were 1-0 up until the 45th minute! Having said that to conceed 4 goals in the last 8 minutes is a little poor even with 9 men.
I suppose it could be worse;

I forgot you were there, I could have cadged a lift at least part-way home.
As it was, I left early. Dire trains, dire weather, dire performance. Roll on Eastwood on Saturday.
