Quote ="mutley cat"yep and it happens throughout the game al at any level and this official should be brought to book but when men are running from the touchline to argue with a child in a refs outfit then i think that is compounding the situation and makes it impossible to train the kids to "Play to the whistle" .
so in answer to your question al to demand respect you must first off all give it , if you do give it then get none back in return the you must turn the other cheek and give the guy the week after respect as this time you may be dealing with a better caliber of person.
and yes I am guilty of criticizing the men in middle but in my own way.'"
Totaly agree with you.
Thats fair enough and i like to think all refs are different and i would in no way carry it to the next one, i've done a bit of reffing at Crigg in my time and i know how hard it can be, but i still managed to treat players/coaches with respect in the first instance.
By the way we lost 42-16 and the ref had no bearing on the result, they were by far the better side and deserved the win.
