I noticed each and every aussie sang their anthem with pride and were visibly revved up by it. Where as out half hearted effort was as pathetic as the performance on the pitch.
No pride in the shirt and no pride in their country, it was an embarrassment.
I noticed that too.
But, the Aussie anthem is about Australia, our National Anthem is about the queen.
IMO opinion, Land of Hope and Glory would be a better option for us.

we commented on that, the aussies really got together as a unit, sang there hearts out, whereas we looked as though we couldnt be arsed, and that was how it carried on, no pride in the shirt, disgraceful performance.

what did anyone think of jamie peacocks touchline interview shortly after the game?
if that was our national captain giving a quick assessment on how the game went then im afraid were going nowhere fast. i'd love to hear his onfield instructions to his teammates.

i understand what you mean but he cant even talk
we need a leader on and off the pitch
playing ability wise, australia have got and had, a 100 jamie peacocks in the past 10 years. theyve used them, dumped them, spat em out and moved on to the next one in a non stop production line.
