He should of replaced Gleeson.

Time for Gleeson to hang up his boots along with a few others.

Much as i like Yeaman, the fact that we are talking about him as a possible international shows how weak our game is.

Motto of the week -

It is the way of the weak to secretly bleat to those in authority rather than fight their own battles.

Lets face it, the worst the could do is boot us out of the competition and after this morning they'd be doing us a favour. :lol:

I dont think the half backs are that bad, lets not forget the forwards were non existant today, half backs canot play with a beaten pack.

It comes as no suprise to me and many others, we are not good enough and I do not think we will ever be. We have had years of picking the wrong players and a whole raft of other built in excuses, face we are crap. Lets not forget that was not even the Aussie first team of choice and its a good job it was not or the score could have been 80 or 90.

Our game is dominated by the domestic scene and if we could restrict the oversea's content we could have at least tried to keep up. There is no way the laws of this country or the EEC will permit a it and the chairman of the SL clubs will continue to pay big bucks to Aussies stars.

Its time to consider the international rugby league and its benefit to the game. I like it and have always supported it, but I question the wisdom of investing money constantly into a system that is clearly failing.

I hope we do not reach the final, I really do :roll:

International RL against the Aussies is now dead and buried

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.;

He set the ball rolling for Aus, he had a simple high ball to take with little pressure and made a right c**k up of it. The only major thing he had to do all game, you can rave about his good marker tackles but when it came down to one key area you need your winger to be solid in, he messed up!

I don't see it as a job. It is a passion and love that we all share. Neil Hudgell

Too right, if Burrows and Price are out, who do we have?it'll be McGuire and Roby, which is an embarrassment to our game in general, we really are poor at developing youth, too much spent and invested in overseas players,
