I know this thread about marketing ideas and all that, but its been reported on here and on main Engage super League site they we are to play Manly before WCC, but nothing again on main Quins site, would there be a reason for this i.e. making sure grounds free, tickets and all that or just them being slow again.
As for posters that downloaded from here, can't get a shop in this area (bexleyheath kent) to put one up so just decided to put them on both our car windows and use to them to get word around when out and about. Which i think has worked saw a copper taking number down other day on way back to car (didnt rush back incase for some other reason he was there ),so like to think it was that he took down

we are on the "manly thing"....waiting for the official RFL press release to go out before anything official comes from the club.

Ok......
I have watched these boards with interest for some time and have decided to take the plunge and throw in my tenpenneths worth.
I will be attending a meeting with the club next Wednesday to discuss the marketing of this game and would appreciate it if some of the more outspoken posters here would PM me their thoughts on how best to promote this game.
Whilst the easy option is to target the Austalians in the capital, I am keen to also push this to the local market and to the Harlequins Rugby Union fans.
Manly will be a big draw, especially if Austalia win the RLWC.
This is an opportunity for the fans to be heard by the club, so it really is time to voice your opinon on issues relating to the marketing of the game.
Many thanks in advance.

Mmmmm, not sure the Forum is the place to hassle hoggster over marketing YET. I would wait for the CEO and new head of Sales and Marketing to be in place before asking tough "business related" questions.
Still, each to their own.

My question is young faces at the stoop, how we get them keep them and get their friends to come. Have an idea would like to know if the club is willing to take the chance.
