Is there a plan to have Manchester United reserves using the new stadium? Or was it just rumoured?

Current options are for either 12 or 20 thousand stadium. Project Director at Peels want 20 & to be on site by next summer once the legals have sorted the land issue.

I'm led to believe that the 12k stadium idea has been thrown out, as the Council will only allow a 20k stadium to be built on the site. But yeah the land issues are holding things up a little at the moment but once they're sorted it should be all systems go.

It has been put somewhere on this board. It's just something to do with the name that the land is registered with. The land has to be changed from Red City Developments name into Peel's name as RCD no longer exist, so it's just a legal matter.

So the Council do own the land, but the registered developer has changed.

Always amazes me how simple things like this drag on.... cross out Red City Developments (or Tipex), and write in Peel Holdings.... Job done... get on with it.
