Aye but why didn't they go for 3 pts instead of time-wasting in the corner? City were there for the taking. On the balance of play I'd settle for a point. The sending off was disgraceful. I was complaining about the ref awarding a free-kick in the first place because they appear to be trying to make tackling a thing of the past when next thing he's brandishing a red card! He wants to appeal and City should back him up!
Also the fat No.5 only had to stick his arm in the air and the linesman on the Midland Road side gave him a free-kick. He's either got compromising photos of him or he's compacting his lunch!

"Arguably the best Rugby League side certainly in the last 40 years!" Phil Clarke.

I thought the same at the time, but it is understandable. After all, they still nearly threw it all away in the last minute when they let Colbeck in and Lee hit the bar from the corner.

2-1 win over Bury, just a point behind Grimsby now

Good win for your lot that is Bury are a tough nut to crack,if Rotherham can keep the team they have this season then all going well im sure promotion will be a real possibility for next season.

If we carry on like we are playing this year, i think a crack at the Playoffs isnt out of the question

Any City fans off to Grimsby tonight? 3 points is a must against one of the poorer teams in the league,it will; be interesting to see if Thorne is on from the start tonight having played on monday.

Good win last night given recent form and the fact we were down to ten men for almost 80 minutes, the fact that we are in 3rd (albeit before this afternoons fixtures) having been poor in recent weeks shows that if we can just find some consistency then a real crack at promotion shouldn't be beyond us, however I am unconvinced.

Big game against Bury on Tuesday night, hopefully we can build on last nights result.
