I am very happy to have Dobson at 7 for us and after seeing some glimpses of what he is capable of, I think it will be money well spent.

Long has been there and done it...Dobson hasnt even set off yet.

Long has a better passing game and is a better organiser..kicking is equal and long can tackle.

I think this is partly why we could perform one week, but not back it up the next. It was noticable how the team (& Dobson) improved when Makali came back. Next term we will have an extra prop, as well as Newton & Walker returning & Webster fully fit, all players who give us a much greater physical edge.

Burrow & Long aside, I think Dobson is as good as any other half in the competition. Given a more dominant set of forwards to play behind & I think there's every chance he will prove it.
