The draft tonight, Jermaine O'neal has been traded to Toronto foe TJ ford and the 17th pick. I get a feeling there is going to be alof of trade activity.

Rose is a certainty to go number one IMO.

Not a completely done deal yet apparently. It's all agreed in principle, including another player as yet unnamed - I believe for salary cap reasons as Jermaine is on a big fat contract. I'll be well chuffed it if comes off. It's a bit of a gamble of course but if the lad can stay fit then a team with O'Neal and Bosh on it is going to be superb to watch. Nice one Mr Colangelo.

If he stays fit, you have a real chance in the play-offs next season.

The O'Neal deal would be Colangelo's best bit of business to date (with the posible exception of tying up Bosh to a long term deal). Plus it means that Jose is our Point Guard, no more sharing the role. That's also great news for the Raptors. I am really looking forward to next season. Now all we need is for Bargnani to show the sort of form we know he's capable of and we could well be in for a play-off run.

2 weeks away, we seem to be getting used to D'Antoni's offence in pre-seasn Duhon is looking good, look out for the guy in my avatar this year Wilson Chandler...you'll see a big improvement.

I'm hoping for a better season out of us this year.

We have got Artest now who can take some of the pressure of T-Mac and Yao. Hopefully some more improvment from Scola and we are in with a definate chance of competing for the West. Although as with New Orleans, a team can come out of nowhere really.

I think we have a very good overall team. We don't really contain a mega superstar. Both Yao and T-Mac are in name but are to inconsistent over the course of a season and/or injured. With the likes of Phoenix getting older and likewise with San Antonio it should be close.

I think we'll win the west though.

Suprise team (West)- Portland. They are loaded with young talent.
Suprise team (East)- Atlanta. Yes they made the play-offs but they will improve big time.
