Only because he plays for Rovers. If he played for Saints, Leeds or even Wigan people would say different. They have a problem accepting that Rovers have signed a top class player and don't like it because their own clubs and players are under threat.
It surprises me that so many FC fans don't rate him, after all they were trying to sign him themselves so their club obviously does.

Hull FC would not pay his over inflated price tag, you have no idea if he would be their first choice or even still at the KC.
It is nothing to do with who he plays for, it is the fact he cannot get into any of the teams you mention that tells you he aint a top 7.
He is ok, he does a decent job, but he could not lace Sean Long or Paul Deacons boots. If he was British he would not get in the England squad, or the Yorkshire squad.
I am glad he is at Rovers, he does a decent job and there aint many availble half backs as good as him around that would come to KR but he is nowhere near the best in Britain.
Seriously you don't have to gang up on me. Everyone seems to be getting confused that I am talking about how he has played so far. I realise that in 2008 he was not as good as Burrow, Long and others.
I have given my opinion that in 2009 he will be the best scrum half in the league because having watched him, I think he is something special. I also realise that others will not share my opinion and I can accept that, no problem.
So far no-one has said "I disagree I think Rob Burrow will be the best scrum half because of..........." for example. Constantly hammering Dobson and saying how crap he is will make no difference to me whatsoever.

Nobody is ganging up on you.
Ok, here goes.
I think that Burrow, Long, Deacon, Lulu, and Monaghan are all better players and therefore will continue to make Dobson look ordinary.

Leuluai is one of the most average scrum halves in the game, a great tackler and occasionally does good things but mostly average. I bet most Wigan fans if they were honest (which they won't be) would rather have Dobson back than Leuluai.
Dobson wasn't ordinary in 2008 (four tries in a match, winning goal from the touch line against Wire to name a couple of far from ordinary acts) but neither was he brilliant all the time. KR for a number of reasons in 2008 were hit and miss but I expect them to rectify those problems in 2009.

That is why Brian Noble is coaching Wigan and not you.
If you think Dobson is better than Lulu you are fecking nuts. You have virtually summed it up in your comment. Dobson did some good things in a few games, he was also terrible in a few with people calling for him to be shipped out and Webster brought back, I think on the cuddly forum.
Get some dvd's, sit and watch both players and then come back.
