I cannot think of one aspect of Dobsons game that is better than Long's, Deacon's, or Burrow's.

For the record I think Long is twice the player Dobson will ever be.

And no if Dobson played for Cas I wouldn't suggest it at all. I don't care about Cas so why would I? I only care about Rovers. And these forums are about discussion, which is what this is. Dobson's best feature is his kicking game but it is his try scoring and running of the ball that I am looking forward to.

Rovers have kept a fairly stable squad with mainly like for like replacements. As yet in super league Rovers have never been in good form, they've only had good games.

I am predicting that in 2009 rovers will hit form at some point and go on a decent winning streak - I think Dobson will be at the hub of that because from what I've seen of him he's brilliant and can only get better.

Dobson will be the best scrum half in the league next year and Sean Long will be average.

With Webster going, a cloud over Cooke and no relegation, Rovers had the perfect opportunity to give Chas I'Anson an extended run in the first team and address the inadequate evidence of youth development highlighted by the RFL's assessment of their franchise bid. Surprisingly they opted immediately for an overseas replacement. Good to see Menzies getting a good go in the first team though - that's what the homegrown/U21 quota is for, after all.
