1. Show that we are learning from our mistakes (i.e. eradicating the same old errors)
2. Stop moaning about the refs being against him - it smacks of paranoia, desperation and an attempt to deflect the blow away from him.
3. Put on the field a side that looks like it can compete for eight minutes rather than the sixty minutes we seem to only be capable of this season.
4. Give us a winning mentality. Too often last season when we went behind a defeat was inevitable.
5. Show that although our side may not be as good as Leeds for example, that at least he has the tactical nous to help bridge the gap. Nobby had it over McLennan last season, McLennan had it over Anderson, Anderson had it over Nobby, McNamara had it over none of the top sides.
We also need to turn more possession in the opposition half into scores and be less static whilst in attack. Too often players are getting the ball in attacking positions and being caught flat footed.
