Idle Bull - Tony Smith Thread.
Ancient Provocateur - McBanana thread.
Neither of the above are me, nor are they people I have ever met therefore could barely be classed as a friend.
Stop making things up for goodness sake.
I know that it upsets people that Mr M has more and more detractors but that is more down to his own clear failings rather than anything I (or anyone else) say on here.

Maybe people would be less likely to cast aspersions on your support of the club if you didn't post threads on the subject of their difficulties, titled "don't you just love it?".
If a team does less well than it previously or even if it plateaus at a certain level (Charlton under Curbishley are a good example of this), a section of the support will always get on the coach's back. I'm pretty confident that this is a weird trick of reverse logic - if it's the coach's fault then the problem can be easily remedied. It saves the believer from considering the unsettling possibility that this may be as good as it gets for their club right now.
I'm not surprised by the anti-SM sentiment, and I too am pretty stalled with the circular and repetitive arguments that go on. But on the other hand, I'm loathe to let unfair criticisms and calls for action that would surely be counter-productive stand unchallenged.

Why bother? I do not go to many games (not through choice I add), some people do. Therefore, their opinion is more valid. That is how it works right?
However, FWIW, are some people so dim as to realise that if i did not care about the club then I would not give a damn about how bad we are doing?
As for the title "Don't You Just Love It?". Personally I was referring to the latest bunch of anti-McNamara threads started by others. It was meant to be ironic and provocative. It clearly worked as, despite comments to the contrary elsewhere, it has got a reaction.
