I was gutted when he turned us down years ago so I'm happy we finally got him. Certainly not a poor mans Rich Horne, he can organize to a degree and kick well. Shame he's 28 now but he has been pivotal in every team he's played for in this Country. I will be happy with Horne or Thorman at fullback but don't reckon either is a scrum half. Webster or Dykes at 7 with Thorman or Horne at 6 sounds better than any partnership we've had this season! I still think Webster is the only proven scrum half we have and if we get rid of him then we have 3 stand off halves to pick from IMO.

Dykes may have worn 6 during most of his time at Cronulla but in all fairness, he plays like a 7 (which is probably why him and Kimmorley never hit it off) much the same as Cooke did during his time at Hull FC.

You'd be happy with Thorman at fullback? You been on the hard stuff?

A decent goal kicker but that's about it. Considering who's coming in for him i'm not sorry to see him go tbh. I wish him well though and thanks for your service Chris.

Backwards step?? Does this mean bye-bye to Dykes? What about Webster??
he's a better player than webster i'd rather have an english player than some red aussie reject who was forth choice hooker at parramatta when thorman was there
