I'm not over excited by this signing but if the club have done it for the right reasons then i'm happy.
I now expect Webster to be released which will free up an non fed space and hopefully that will now be filled with quality.
The fact that it's only a one year deal also please's me because it means when some quality halves are available in the NRL(2010) we will be in a position to try to sign them. In the meantime Thorman will provide the cover for Horne/Dykes.
To all the people whinging, who is out there at present to sign??
I remember watching him & Horne play together for Yorkshire some years ago at Odsal in the halves, that night they played really well.

Not slating the player himself, cracking player but I see him as a reasonable quality English Stand Off. We already have one of them so I think we've thrown our money the wrong way. Either way he's signed now so welcome aboard and I sincerely hope im proven wrong.
Agree with that (apart from the "reasonable quality" bit ). A poor man's Richard Horne IMO. I'm still waiting for us to replace Greg Mackey as he was our last class scrum half but no one at the club has recognised the need for quality organisational skills in this position for the best part of 20 years.

Just had a thought.
Seeing that now we have Johnny sharp and he wants to bring everything from huddersfield.....do you think he'll bring there season pass pricing policy
