We line up with a lone striker, huff and puff for an hour. Decide to start playing, create loads of chances and give a stupid one away at the other end. 1-1.

Just got back from a lacklustre 0-0 draw at home to Worksop Town. We really, really should be beating teams like that. Ah well, I'm sure we'll hammer Ossett Town on Tuesday night at their place, seeing as I won't be there.
Awesome result today, beat Atherton 3-0 away in the Vase. They're a league above but watching it you would think it was that was a league up, Paul Mc upfront was superb, worked hard all game. Fantastic result, got a little lost on the way but only missed 5 missed. Sun was superb too

Well at least you didn't have far to travel to see your lacklustre 0-0 draw! I saw Dulwich Hamlet achieve a similar result away to Ashford Town - round trip of well over 100 miles, their ground is four miles out of town on a main road with no bus service and no pavement; £8 each way in a cab (fortunately several of us were sharing one on the return leg), and just for good measure I've got a right b@stard cut on my finger after a door slammed on it on the train journey from my local station this morning. I probably should have diverted to Guy's Hospital at London Bridge station to have it sorted properly but i didn't want to miss the game, so a tube of ointment and a packet of rather inadequate plasters from Boots at Waterloo had to suffice instead. (Makes it bleedin' awkward typing too!)
