Are we going for some sort of record or something?
Trying to the get the majority of our salary money off the field rather than on it.

Quote:Carvell ‘Signs Wolves Deal
Carvell Is reported to be on his way to warrington wolves for the next season.
The Hull FC and g.b player prop is said to agreed a 4 year deal with the wolves who will pay hull £50.000 transfer fee
Carvell pledged his future to hull less the 3 months ago, lnking a lucrative new 3 year deal only to make a stunning u-turn the next day and tell the club he wants out.
He had seemed destined for st Helens until he signed the new deal and attracted the attention of both wigan and south Sydney rabbitohs too.
But it appears wolves have been the keenest to stump up the cash for the 28 year old, wloves are likely to have to release some players to fit carvell’s earning’s under the salary cap, which opens up the possibility of players going the other way down the M62 as part of the deal

While there was plenty of red hot speculation along the M62 on Friday and Saturday that Hull’s prop carvell had definitely signed for the wolves, I still told by an excellent source close to knowsley rd that he will ending up at st helenes

Carvell is one of the best go forward props around in SL and when fit will do a superb job for you. His problem is he is a big bloke and does pick up a lot of injuries and is not a quick healer. £50k is good business but a 4 year deal seems a bit much tbh. His offer at Hull was estimated to be around the £105k a year mark.

no wonder you lot have to encourage your youngsters, 135k on a prop who isn't even an international regular.
A lot of our fans complain about injuries so if we do sign Gareth Carvell then the following players in our squad would all have poor injury records over the years, that would be almost a 3rd of the squad which is frightening really when your trying to keep a healthy squad in tact.
1. Stuart Reardon
2. Paul Johnson
3. Chris Bridge
4. Vinnie Anderson
5. Paul Wood
6. Lee Briers
7. Simon Grix
8. Paul Rauhihi
9. Gareth Carvell ?
If your signing players with a track record of injuries then its no suprise is it that we have quite a few injuries each season.
